Me and Erik went to the Lakers vs. Jazz game on friday. Erik's friend called and asked us if we wanted to go! It was such an exciting game! We love our Jazz and LOVED the sweet dunk by Price!

Thanks Shelby and Carlie! I don't think we could have seen a better game!!

Cool thing that happened: We were above the Lakers tunnel and as we were walking in Ron Artest walked by us and Erik hit him. I told Erik I am glad of all the NBA players to see up that close and it has to be the one we hate the most! Ha oh well it was still cool.

Here is a little secret about me.... I LOVE DANCING!

SO....... This was actually back in June! ha ha I am slowly going to catch up! I have been dancing since I was 3! and I seriously love love love it! My dance studio does an alumni class and I get to dance with old friends! My cousin Kelsi also dances with me so it makes it so much fun! (my cousin Staci was in the class but she got pregnant and had to stop!) So here are some pictures from the recital- I know I am 5 and was in a dance recital! but It was seriously so much fun and reminded me of old times performing!

We are building a house in Plain city and it should be done this week!! Yay!!! Sorry I have been so busy and haven't really posted. We have even more updates from these pictures but I haven't had a chance to download them from my camera! We just got our carpet in monday and are finishing up everything this week. Yummy McMuffin from home!

I got this great recipe out of my Taste of Homes light and tasty book. I made it this summer but we hadn't had it for awhile! It is so good and better than buying breakfast from McDonalds (which we NEVER eat at! ).

You will need :

English muffins

2-3 Eggs

Canadian bacon

Cheese

First I cook the canadian bacon in a frying pan til browned, I usually put two pieces per sandwich, then scramble the eggs. Meanwhile I toast the english muffins. Once they are toasted I put the canadian bacon on top of one bun. Then back to the eggs once they are almost done I put cheese on top of them and let it melt. Then I separate the eggs and place them on top of canadian bacon which is now on one side of the english muffin. Then I take the other free bun and put it on top making a sandwich!

There you have it! A delicious and hearty breakfast!

Erik is old!

Erik turned 24 this year!! His Birthday was March 18th! I felt bad because my cousin got married this day but before her wedding I had him open his presents and took him to Moore's for breakfast! We had a family party on the following sunday with cake and ice cream.

We also went to Maddox with my family to celebrate during his birthday week.

My two best cousins got married March 17th and March 18th. It was so much fun to go to both weddings! -even though they ruined our trip to see Erik's sister!! Meanies!- I really enjoyed being there and love these two girl so much! Thanks for everything you have both done for me!

They were married in her Taylor ward church. Her wedding was so pretty and she had a live musician. She was in a back corner and sang and played acoustic guitar! I LOVED it!!

DIJON-CRUSTED TILAPIA

I got this recipe out of my light and tasty, taste of homes cookbook.

3 tbs reduced-fat mayo

2 tbs grated parmesan cheese, divided

1 tbs lemon juice

2 tsp dijon mustard

1 tsp horseradish

4 tilapia fillets(5 ounces each)

1/4 cup dry bread crumbs

2 tsp butter, melted

In a small bowl, combine the mayo, 1 tbs parmesan cheese, lemon juice, mustard and horseradish. place fillets on a baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray. spread mayo mixture evenly over fillets.

In a small bowl, combine the bread crumbs, butter, and remaining parmesan cheese; sprinkle over fillets. bake at 425 for 13-18 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.

I made this with white rice and put lemon juice and lemon pepper in with it. I always cut up a fresh lemon to sprinkle over the fish when it is done. Hope someone can try this it is super good if you like fish!!

I love Valentines Day! I have always loved it! I think it is the cutest holiday with pink and red and lots of hearts and love. Our Valentines day this year was so much fun! Erik surprised me and took me to St. George for a weekend get away! We went to Benja Thai and Sushi the first night and saw Valentines day. It was a cute movie. The next day we went to in and out burger. We went shopping and got ice cream. Then that night we got steak and crab legs and made grilled asparagus and spinach salad for dinner. It was a weekend full of a lot of firsts for me.... first time eating thai food, crab legs, and going to St. George!( SO pathetic I know!) We had so much fun! I am so thankful for Erik and him surprising me! He is a sweet husband! Sorry I forgot my camera! So no pics this time.

It has been too long since I posted but my sweet husband lost our camera so I don't have pictures but a lot has been going on. We are both officially back in Utah, both going to school and working so we are super busy! My best friend Amber got married to Jared Sims two days ago. The sealing was so awesome I was so happy I could be there for it! All my friends also threw a fun shower for her, thanks Jess and everyone else for putting it together! My other friend I work with Jessie got married too. Her reception was so cute and I know they will be so happy! My sister went to Homecoming I helped her get ready and she looked so beautiful! My mom made her dress! It was black and hot pink. I am such the homemaker! I made raspberry and blackberry jam, I also canned peaches with my cousin Jodi. We choose something each year to can together and it is so much fun! Right when we got back to Utah Erik's sister and husband were here visiting. We had a few days with them and Daphnie we love when we get to see them! We miss you guys! I am happy to be back with my cute sunbeam class! I missed their sweet spirits. Hopefully I didn't miss anything and I am waiting to get all the pictures I can from everyone else so I can put up pictures about all this stuff! Sorry such a long boring post! P.S. congrats to Kylee and Jayson, Dave and Bethany, and Chad and Chelsea for having your babies we will visit soon!! oh another P.S. swine flu sucks! Me and Erik are stuck in our house for the next week!! Boo getting sick!!

German fest

Kristin, Lauren, Rachel, and I went down to the lake one day, we saw that there was a 5k going on and we saw signs to a Germanfest. So we decide to ask one of the participants of the 5k where the Germanfest was. They pointed us in the right direction and we decided to check it out! It was so much fun! They did it at the same place they do Summerfest. SO many people were there and they were dressed up. They had people on all the stage areas dancing and singing German songs. We had Funnel cake ( So delicious! ) and we had brautwarst with sauerkraut! It was really good!

Brewers Baseball Game

We went to a Brewers game and had so much fun!! They played the Dodgers, and Brewers won!! We sat in dug out seats, row 15! It was so awesome!!! This was me and Erik's first pro baseball game. We went there with Brit, Ben, Melissa, and Ben. Skyler and Lauren were already there. We all went to dinner after the game. This was such a fun night!

We all decided we really wanted to go to the temple and see the city. So we started at the temple(pictures are further down) then we went into downtown Chicago to see the city and eat dinner. We had so much fun! I love Chicago it is so cool to see such a huge city and see the skyline with all the tall buildings!

I am a few days late on this post but I want to wish my dad a happy birthday! I hope he had a fun and good day!! I am so thankful for him! He is the best dad in the world. He is so much fun and always makes me laugh. He has really become wise in his old age and gives the best advice! He has always done so much to provide for our family and I am so thankful for all he has done for me!! I LOVE YOU DAD!! ( I changed my songs to dedicate them to my dad!! So these are for you!! )

The 4th a LOT late!!

To start out the day me, Kristin and Brittany ran a 5k! My first ever!! Who would have known I was a runner!! ha jk I am totally not! But I made it through with a decent time so I was very proud of myself!! We stayed for the parade but I didn't have my camera so sorry no pictures!

We met up with our husbands after and me and Erik went boating with his manager. It was so much fun! They did tubing and wakeboarding!! We ended the night watching fireworks on the lake.... They were every direction! It was a perfect seat! After we went to Kopp's frozen custard for some good ol american food!!

Midsommer is a holiday in Sweden. This is one of Erik's favorite things from his mission! In our ward here there is a lady that is from Sweden and she still speaks swedish. Erik talks with her every sunday. She told us about the Swedish festival that is put on every year here and invited us to go with her and her family. We met at her house and she made me a flower wreath(they wear these on their heads) She also made us our favorite swedish meal! Homemade!! It was so so YUMMY!!! I make this meal too, but we get the ingredients from IKEA. She also made an almond cake for dessert, I was in heaven! We had so much fun decorating the maypole! They decorate a huge pole(the maypole) with flowers and greenery, then they sing songs and dance around the pole. It was so fun to get to see the celebration that I have heard so much about from Erik!

Home Sweet Home!!

A couple weeks ago, I was able to go back to Utah and visit my family and see some of my friends! I had so much fun! The first night my mom had a barbecue with my family. Tuesday I went with my sister to the office I work at for an appointment. I was able to see all my co-workers. My mom, and sister, and both grandmas went with me to the Oquirhh Mountain temple. It is so beautiful! It was so fun to go with all the girls and after the open house, we of course went out to lunch! I was able to see some of Erik's family while I was there and see my cute friends!! Thanks Brie, Jess, CC, Aimee, Amber, Lashelle, and Jessie!! It was so fun to see you guys!! I love you all and miss you!

Me and Erik went to dinner with one of the manager's. We went to an authentic italian restaurant and we sat in the kitchen. It was really fun! We got to see all the food they make and get to know him and his wife better. They just joined our office here in Milwaukee. They were in Portland but decided they may have better success out here! I am thrilled with them being here because with them came 4 new fun wives that we can hang our with!

This is what I have been up to lately...

Here is Erik in gun heaven ha we went to Gander Mtn to look and they have all there guns out so you dont have to ask to see them. Erik was loving every minute we spent here.

K so funny story I had this dream that Erik asked me to go to breakfast and in the dream everything went wrong and turned out so crazy..... So Erik wakes me up in the middle of the dream and says hey do you want to go to breakfast? ha I was laughing so hard so I told him about my dream it was funny. We decided to go to this cute place called the pancake house. It was so good!! Here is the outside...

This is my favorite park in our area, it is so PRETTY, there is a pond and tons of trees of course. it is so great.

Me and Kristin came running here and geese were right next to the trail, and one hissed at Kristin. So I told Erik and he thought he would test out if they were really mean, so he chased them and this picture he is pointing at the leader..... He was the tough one and he hissed at Erik.

This was a place where they had real butterflies and you had to go through two doors to get in so the butterflies wont fly out. It was fun, but almost kind of scary for some reason... I don't know why cause butterflies are harmless!!

I love sea shells so I liked this!
I also LOVE zebras!! We were wondering if anyone really knows if they are white with black stripes or black with white stripes?? Shanee decided they are white and black striped animals ha... Way to settle that argument!!

So me and Erik were joking about how I could make him a lunch that will energize him and he will sell 10! (Which is amazingly good!) So he tells me it will only work if he puts on his game face. So here is the lunch...... Sad I know but he never has a microwave for left-overs.

Yummy Treat!

Me and Kristin decided we would learn new recipes and delicious treats with our free time. I think we have done a great job so far and we both have used ingredients we have never even heard of! These treats are so super easy! They are cookies and cream rice krispy treats. Basically its the same as regular rice krispies, just add oreos! We also drizzled chocolate on top which made them even more tempting!

The day before we left for Wisconsin, my big brother was sealed in the Ogden temple to Heather Chevaz. I was so happy my brother chose to live a life worthy of all the blessings of the temple. It was so amazing to watch my brother sealed and see his joy! I am so happy for them and wish them the best of luck!! I love you both and miss you!

Milwaukee!!

Erik's manager's wife Sarah took me and Kristin into Milwaukee. We went down to the lake and then drove through the city. There is a huge mall called Bayshore and it is similar to Gateway. You walk outside to get from store to store. The lake is SO beautiful, these picture don't do it justice!

Don't judge the apartment, I didn't bring hardly any decorations so it is pretty plain! But it is a really nice place we are lucky to live here. There is a gym here and a swimming pool that will be opened within the next week!

We made it!!!

Me and Erik just drove for 20 hours!! 17 the first day then 3 1/2 the second. I HATE traveling! But it is all good because we are finally here and it is so gorgeous! Sorry I can't post any pics cause I am not sure where the usb is at the moment. I will be posting soon though! So stay tuned for beautiful Brookfield, Wisconsin.

P.S. mom you would have LOVED the drive! I have never seen so many silos in my entire life and I thought of you the whole way!!
